It was incredibly exciting to see my Christmas spice cake on sale in the Supermarket yesterday. It’s sold in a corner for small producers and start-up companies in the food industry. Cooking Harmony produces my cake for Matarbúrið, The Small Scale Food Producers Association of Iceland. I loved to see how creative and innovative the producers are.
Like all of my products the Christmas spice cake is vegan, gluten-free and has no added sugar nor additives. The sweetness comes from homemade green apple puree, and the cake also has walnuts and cranberries making it very festive. It’s for sale in Krónan; Lindum, Flatahrauni, Selfossi, Bíldshöfða, Granda and Mosfellsbæ.
It very nice to spread some butter or vegan butter on the slices and have it with a nice cup of tea or coffee. Bon appetit 🙂
