1 handful spinach
1 handful broccoli sprouts
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp black pepper
water, how much depends on your taste
Wash the spinach and the pear. Remove the stem of the pear and cut it into large cubes.
Cut the avocado in half. Take one of the halves and use a spoon to scoop out the flesh.
Put the spinach, pear, avocado, half of the broccoli sprouts, spices and a splash of water in a blender. Blend till it’s smooth as silk. Add more water if the drink is too thick.
Pour into a cocktail glass (or at least a nice glass) and decorate with the rest of the sprouts. However, they’re not just for decoration, enjoy them with the drink or separately.
Broccoli sprouts are a great source of protein, vitamins, minerals and fibre.
