Glatte aka Plantmilk glogg

This has been my favourite drink during the advent, especially on frosty days. I call it Glatte, because it’s a latte with the same spice blend as used in Glogg. The closest to glogg in the UK is mulled wine. I like this Glatte or plantmilk Glogg just as much as the traditional one.

Ingredients

2 cups oat milk, almond milk or soy milk

1 tea strainer Glogg spices or spice mix for mulled wine

4 drops caramel stevia, from Good Good

Method

Fill one half of the tea strainer with the spice mix and close it. If you don’t have a tea strainer use gauze instead.

Pour the plant milk into a small sauce pan, put the tea strainer in it, and bring to boil. Whilst you are waiting for it to boil move the tea strainer around from time to time.

Take the sauce pan off the stove when the drink has started boiling and stir in the stevia drops. Pour into two mugs or cups.

As an option you can grate some dark chocolate into the hot milk or/and top the drink with a splash of whipped coconut or oat cream.

Enjoy! 🙂
